CREATE seeks to inspire and push future entrepreneurs and technical enthusiasts towards creating and developing new ideas. The idea for this club came from our drive to start thinking about and molding ideas early in our college careers.
CREATE is a newly founded club at Lehigh University. We are looking for innovative thinkers and entrepreneurs who want to take it to the next level to bring their ideas to life.
We have skill building workshops, hack building sessions, and ThinkBox sessions. Skill building workshops allow students to learn new trades such as operating a 3D printer, soldering a circuit, and more. Hacks are completed on Lehigh campus, and make landmarks interactive and fun for students. ThinkBox allows idea driven and technical students to share their ideas and collaborate in a “buzz” filled environment.
Through the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation (one of the fastest growing departments at Lehigh), and this new club, students can start to think about their entrepreneurial goals and how to best integrate those goals into their education. Equally important, this club serves as a meeting place for people with different perspectives to collaborate and learn about the creative process of developing new ideas and making the technological aspects of those ideas possible.
